STEP Angola GmbH and SOPIR SA sign Protocol for Cooperation and Contract for Provision of Consulting Services in Angola
Following the conclusion of successful negotiations commenced in October 2013, the STEP Angola GmbH and the SOPIR, SA (Society for Development of Irrigated Perimeters, based in Luanda, Angola) signed today a protocol for cooperation and a service contract.
Both documents were signed by Dieter Kuenstling, Member of the Supervisory Board of STEP Angola GmbH and Managing Director of IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH, and Dr Rafael Albino, President of the Supervisory Board of SOPIR, SA. The signing ceremony took place today at SOPIR’s headquarters in Luanda.
The purpose of the contract is the provision of consulting services in Angola by STEP Angola GmbH in cooperation with IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH and the establishment of an In Vitro Laboratory for plant production in Caxito, the province of Bengo.
Representing STEP GmbH during the ceremony were also Mr Manfred Fikenzer, CFO, Ms Marie Kuenstling, Project Manager, and Ms Desamparados Martinez, Consultant.
Representing SOPIR, SA. During the ceremony were also Hamilton Leitão Ribeiro, General Secretary of the Supervisory Board of SOPIR, SA, Dr. Eurico Andrade, Paulo Tembo, Technical Director.
The signing of the protocol and the service contract is an important first step. SOPIR is a valuable cooperation partner in the area of agriculture and both partners decided to extend their cooperation step by step in the next years.
