STEP at Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) 2014 in Berlin

STEP and the Angolan delegation from Sopir S.A. and Caxito Rega (Institutes from the Angolan Ministry of Agriculture) met the Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Dr. Hans-Peter Friedrich at the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) 2014 in Berlin.

This event, entitled "Empowering Agriculture: Fostering Resilience - Securing Food and Nutrition" was one of the most important convention during the International Green Week.

The GFFA was focused on the economic, ecological and social challenges facing the agri-food sector due to land-use conflicts, a growing global population and climate change. Expert panels discussed topics such as access to seed and water, urgent animal health issues and the relationship between government and the private sector.
